Welcome to JellyDraw! By downloading or purchasing the app, you agree to these simple terms. I’ve kept them completely free of dense legal jargon so you know exactly what you are agreeing to.
The License (JellyDraw Pro)
When you purchase JellyDraw Pro, you are buying a "Lifetime License." This is a one-time payment, not a subscription.
This license grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Pro features of the software.
Your single license key can be used to activate up to 5 of your own personal Mac devices. Please do not share your license key publicly or distribute it to others.
You are free to use JellyDraw for both personal and commercial work (like paid presentations, YouTube videos, or streaming).
System Requirements & Compatibility
JellyDraw is a high-performance utility explicitly engineered for modern Apple Silicon hardware. It requires a Mac with an M-series chip (M1 or newer) running macOS 26.2 (Tahoe) or later. I cannot guarantee compatibility with older Intel-based Macs or older operating systems, which is why the free base version is provided for testing.
Privacy & Offline Use
JellyDraw works offline. It does not collect, store, or transmit your screen contents or drawings. The app requires the macOS Accessibility permission solely to read window positions and sizes locally on your machine. It only goes online to activate and periodically check a Pro license and, if you turn them on, to check for updates. For more details, please see the Privacy Policy.
Payments & Merchant of Record
All payments, taxes, and license key generations are handled securely by our Merchant of Record, LemonSqueezy. When you buy JellyDraw Pro, your financial transaction is with them, and they handle the secure processing of your credit card or Apple Pay data. JellyDraw never sees or stores your payment information.
Updates & Future Features
A JellyDraw Pro license includes all updates to JellyDraw 1.x, at no extra cost. A future major version (2.0 and later) may be offered as a separate purchase. While I am committed to improving the app and adding new features, the software is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind regarding future functionality.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, United States.

Because the base version of the app is 100% free, I highly encourage you to download it and test it on your Mac to ensure it fits your workflow before purchasing the Pro license.However, if you upgrade to JellyDraw Pro and find that it doesn't meet your expectations, I offer a no-questions-asked refund within 14 days of your original purchase.
How to request a refund:
Simply reply to your original LemonSqueezy receipt email, or reach out to [email protected] with your order number. Your license key will be deactivated, and the funds will be returned to your original payment method within a few business days.(Note: Refunds are processed securely through our payment partner, LemonSqueezy).
Privacy Policy
The Short Version:
Your drawings never leave your Mac.
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Everything you draw stays on your Mac, in memory, and is never saved to disk unless you export it yourself. JellyDraw never records your screen or reads what's inside your windows.
When JellyDraw Uses the Network
Pro license: when you activate, and about once a week after that, JellyDraw sends your license key, an activation ID and your Mac's name to Lemon Squeezy, our payment and licensing provider. If a check fails, JellyDraw keeps working.Purchases are handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email and order details so we can provide your license and support.Updates: if you turn on update checks, JellyDraw downloads a small list of available versions from GitHub.That's it. Your drawings are never part of any of this.
Why We Ask for Permissions
To function correctly, JellyDraw requires specific macOS permissions. Here is exactly how they are used:
Accessibility Permissions: JellyDraw uses Apple’s native Accessibility API to read the X, Y, and Size coordinates of your active windows. This allows your drawings to "stick" to windows when you move them. We do not read the content of your windows, track your keystrokes, or log your activity. The coordinate data is processed in real-time and instantly discarded.
Analytics & Crash Reports
JellyDraw contains no third-party analytics or advertising code (like Google Analytics or Mixpanel). If you choose to share crash reports with app developers in your Mac's settings, Apple may make them available to us. We use them only to fix bugs.
Changes to This Policy
If I ever add features that require data collection (which I don't plan to), I will update this policy and clearly outline the changes before you update the app.
